I am tired of "Jesus karaoke"! You know what I mean - people getting up on Sunday mornings, supposedly to worship the LORD, and singing like they were in some Christian karaoke bar. When did church become the place to prove that you could be a good American Idol contestant? I thought as Christians we were supposed to not have idols - not try to become an Idol.I suppose I am being hypocritical - after all, I wouldn't be complaining so much if they were good, but they're not! Were Simon Cowell there (and the roof didn't collapse on top of him) he would roll his eyes right out of his head.
Whatever happened to worshiping God?
